Calculator method

The notebook adds six dollar amounts for each option: food and drink items, tax, service or other charges, delivery, tip, and travel. It converts valid amounts to integer cents before adding them, then compares the two totals.

Blank fields count as zero. It accepts nonnegative amounts with up to two decimal places, without currency symbols or commas. Sample values are fictional. The result is arithmetic based on your entries, not a price quote, tax calculation, or forecast of what a restaurant will charge.
