The notebook stays in your browser
The cost calculator runs in your browser. It reads the amounts you enter, adds them, and displays a comparison on the page. Its code does not transmit those amounts, create an account, or store the entries in cookies, local storage, or a database.
Selecting Clear removes the entered amounts from the page. Browser features such as back-navigation restoration or autofill are controlled by your browser; they are separate from storage performed by this website.
What happens when a page loads
Your browser sends requests to retrieve the page and its local images, stylesheet, and calculator script where applicable. Hosting and network providers process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser details, and response status to deliver and protect the service.
The web server keeps access and error logs for operations and troubleshooting. This page does not promise a fixed retention period, since server and provider settings determine retention. Do not put personal or sensitive information into URL parameters when sharing a link.
Network services and cookies
The domain uses Cloudflare for network delivery and security. Cloudflare may process connection information and use technical cookies when its enabled features require them. Its privacy policy explains its own practices.
The published pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies, run ad pixels, or embed social-media widgets. They do not include an order form, a newsletter signup, or a payment interface. The font choices use fonts already available on your device, and the food images are hosted on this domain.
When you follow a reference
External reference links lead to websites with their own privacy policies. Opening one sends a request to that destination. The third party’s page may use technologies that this journal does not use.
